Kp-lok high-pressure ball valves have been designed to provide superior quality for maximum performance within a variety of valve styles, sizes, and process connections. Some of the more unique design innovations include an integral one-piece trunnion mounted style ball and stem that eliminates the shear failure common in two piece designs, re-torqueable seat glands that resultin longer seat life, and a low friction stem seal that reduces actuationtorque and enhances cycle life.
In addition to the standard isolation ball valve, Kp-lok can provide the ball valve in a manifold with applications such as block and bleed gauge valves and double block and bleed instrument valves.
These ball valve manifolds as standard are rated to 413bar (6,000psi) but can be rated to 689bar (10,000psi) and are available in a range of different materials.
Instrument ball valve is designed for on-off, high flow, high pressure applications. The one-piece trunnion mounted stem/ball eliminates the shear failure common in two-piece designs. Re-torqueable seat glands result in longer seat life and low friction stem seal reduces actuation torque and enhances cycle life. They can be operated safely up to 20,000 psi and up to 400°F, and up to 500°F with the high temperature option. 2-way, 3-way & 4-way switching and crossover styles are available.
